Steven Spielbergs DreamWorks hat den Regisseur D.J. Caruso („Disturbia – Auch Killer haben Nachbarn“) engagiert den Film „Ich bin Nummer Vier“ zu drehen, einen Sci-Fi-Film über junge, außerirdische Teenager, welche ihren Heimatplaneten verlassen haben und auf die Erde geflüchtet sind, um einer feindlichen Rasse zu entkommen. Der Film basiert auf einer Buchserie von James Frey und Joby Hughes, welche aber erst im Herbst 2010 veröffentlicht wird. Nun ist das offizielle Poster zum Film erschienen.
Die Hauptrolle des Charakters „Nummer 4“ übernimmt Alex Pettyfer („Tormented“). Weitere Cast-Mitglieder sind: Timothy Olyphant, Teresa Palmer, Dianna Agron, Kevin Durand, Callan McAuliffe und Jake Abel.
Der Film soll am 18. Februar 2011 in den Kinos erscheinen.
