Die Gewinner des 63. Primetime Emmy Awards

In der Nacht von Sonntag auf Montag wurden im Nokia Theatre, Los Angeles, zum 63. Mal die Primetime Emmy Awards verliehen. Durch das Programm führte in diesem Jahr Jane Lynch, welche selbst im Jahr 2010 den Emmy erhielt für ihre Nebenrolle in der Fernsehserie „Glee“.

Bereits zum vierten Mal in Folge konnte sich die Serie „Mad Men“ die Auszeichnung für die beste Drama-Serie sichern. Auch «Modern Family» gehört zu den großen Gewinnern des Abends.

Aber auch Serien wie „Boardwalk Empire“, „The Big Bang Theory“, „Mike & Molly“ und „Game of Thrones“ gingen nicht leer aus. In der Kategorie Beste Mini-Serien oder Film gewann das BBC-Drama „Downton Abbey“, welches sich die vier wichtigen Trophäen „beste Miniserie“, „beste Regie“, „bestes Drehbuch“ und „beste Nebendarstellerin“ sichern konnte.
